Bandits Demand N50m For Kidnapped Edo DPO
The kidnappers who abducted Mr. Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq, the Divisional Police Officer DPO of Fugar in Edo State have demanded N50 million for his release, it emerged at the weekend.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the officer was kidnapped within his area of supervision. It was further gathered that the culprits have made a demand of N50 million for the release of the kidnapped DPO,
The Commissioner of Police, Philip Ogbadu it was gathered, has ordered the immediate deployment of men of the Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime unit, men of the Tactical and Srike teams of the state Police Command in the area to rescue the DPO unhurt.
