Reactions As Lady Caught Stealing Begs Not To Be Disgraced
Reactions have trailed the plea of an unidentified lady who was caught stealing in a fabric shop on Lagos Island not to be disgraced by the shopowner.
The thief who posed as a customer was caught by the vigilant attendant in the shop who spotted when the lady hid a stolen fabric in her bag.
In a viral video on social media, the shop attendant and the thief can be heard conversing in Yoruba, with the thief begging not to be disgraced, while the shop attendant explained how she nabbed the lady in the shop.
After admitting to the theft, the lady begged not to be disgraced, while one of the other ladies in the shop can be heard telling the attendant to call her “Aunty”, perhaps the owner of the shop.
