Lagos State Shuts Down Dowen College Indefinitely

The Lagos State Government has ordered the immediate closure of Dowen College indefinitely, pending the outcome of an investigation into the death of 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.

Commissioner for Education Mrs Folasade Adefisayo announced the closure after a meeting with the School Management and Staff.

The decision was announced by the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, following a meeting with the management of Dowen College.

Adefisayo further appealed for calm, saying no effort will be spared in solving the issue.
