My Father Fortified Me With Juju, Nabbed Traffic Robber Reveals

Samuel Adetomi, an 18-year-old hawker cum traffic robber has revealed that his father fortified him with juju (charms) before departing for Lagos from Abeokuta.

Adetomi was apprehended around Otedola Bridge and Ojodu-Berger by the decoy team of the Rapid Response Squad on November 26, 2021, while trying to rob a motorist alongside four of his accomplices who took to their heels on sighting the police.

Luck however ran out on Adetomi, who was apprehended and subdued by no less than six police officers, according to the Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi.

Egbeyemi revealed that charms and hard drugs were recovered from the culprit.

The traffic robber who revealed that he sleeps under the Ojodu-Berger footbridge at night said he sells bottled water by the day, while he robs unsuspecting victims at night.

He also said that the several incisions all over his body, as well as the ring found on his toe, were part of the fortification juju his father made him go through before leaving Abeokuta, Ogun State for Lagos State.

Reacting to Adetomi’s arrest, Nigerians reacted to the arrest of Adetomi with humour, with most questioning how he was arrested by police, despite being fortified by his dad’s juju.
