Reactions As EFCC Nabs Three Men With 1,144 ATM Cards

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Kano Zonal Command, has arrested three suspects at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport while trying to smuggle a whopping 1,144 ATM cards out of Nigeria.

The three suspects Abdullahi Usman, Musa Abubakar and Abdulwahid Auwalu were arrested by EFCC between November 24 and December 1, 2021.

Musa Abubakar who was on his way to Dubai, UAE, was nabbed with 714 ATM cards, while Abdullahi Usman who was heading to Saudi Arabia, was picked up with 298 ATM cards in his possession. Abdulwahid on the other hand was arrested with 132 ATM cards while trying to board an Ethiopian Airlines flight to Istanbul, Turkey.

Reacting to news of the EFCC arrests, some social media users expressed shock at seeing Northerners involved in scams while some were flabbergasted by the number of ATM cards found in their possession, here are some reactions gathered by GwG
