Toke Makinwa Sick With COVID-Like Bug, Daddy Visits

Popular on air personality, Toke Makinwa,  has fallen sick with a yet to be diagnosed ailment drawing a visit from her daddy, she posted on her Instastory. The ailment according to her bears some similar symptoms to COVID-19 but is apparently not. According to her she has taken six COVID-19 tests with all coming back negative

However, she has remained sick with sore throat, headache, fever and tiredness. She, however, confessed that there is no loss of smell or taste as is normally symptomatic of COVID-19.

In a post she shared on her Instagram story, Toke Makinwa lamented over the emergence of a bug she said had fallen everyone around her.

Noting that the symptoms of the bug were similar with many of those characteristic of COVID-19, Toke Makinwa, however, affirmed that it could not be COVID-19 given that six tests she took all came out negative.

She wrote: There’s a nasty bug going around, everyone I know is sick. It’s covid like, with no loss of smell or taste but all tests come out negative. I’ve done 6 tests. all negative but I’m in a sickbed. maybe the change of weather? Harmattan?? It starts with sore throats, headaches, fever, tiredness etc.

The development is bound to interest officials of the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC.

Among those who have visited the sick Toke Makinwa is her ‘daddy’, an apparent reference to her foster dad given past reports that she lost her parents to a fire incident.
