COVID-19: Nigeria Deserves To Be On Red List, Funnybone Blows Hot

Comedian Funnybone has said Nigeria deserves to be placed on the COVID-19 red list due to the country’s inability to test effectively for the virus.

Funnybone made the statement in an Instagram post, where he slammed the Nigerian authorities for their inability to provide testing facilities, especially at the airports.

Recall that due to the discovery of the Omicron COVID-19 variant, Nigeria was added to the UK red list alongside other Southern African countries.

Funnybone posted, ” Ghana had their borders secured right from Day 1. You need a negative COVID test to fly to Accra and upon arrival, you will be tested again before you are allowed entry.

“Now this is small Ghana o. But your airports, both Lagos and Abuja don’t have the facilities to test you at the airport upon arrival, despite the billions allocated for COVID.

“Please who are we fooling?? Red list is our portion.

Funnybone went on to comment on the current sickness sweeping through Lagos, where persons have complained of having flu-like and malaria symptoms.

“Meanwhile, most persons in Lagos now are either down with cough, catarrh or sore throat plus fever and body weakness. Errrm have you caught the bug yet??
