Football Stars React As Aguero Retires Due To Heart Condition

It has been a day full of glowing tributes for Sergio Aguero following his announcement to retire from football due to a heart condition.

Aguero has long been expected to call time on his playing days after being diagnosed with a heart condition shortly after making his long-awaited Barcelona debut back in October.

At a press conference at the Camp Nou on Wednesday, A teary Aguero said, “My health comes first. Medical staff have told me it’s best to stop playing and so I’m now leaving Barcelona and retiring from professional football”.

Following the news of Aguero’s retirement, several football stars, comprising of teammates and rivals went on social media to hail the football legend.
