Man Dies After Downing Four Bottles Of Gin To Win N20K Drinking Prize Money

A social media user on Twitter @Ayanduu (Joseph Barnabas) has revealed how an unidentified man died after consuming excess alcohol in a bid to win a N20,000 prize money in a drinking competition.

According to Ayanduu, the man was consuming his fourth bottle of gin when he died on the spot

“A drinking competition was held in my area yesterday,4bottles of gin n get 20k, d guy on his 4th one died on d spot..sad!!!!!”

Following the tweet, some social media users questioned why anyone will take that risk to consume such an amount of alcohol for a measly N20,000. Some others called for the organizer of the competition to be arrested.

Others were less sympathetic, stating that the man deserved what he got for taking such a risk.
