Gunmen Kill, Burn Corpses In Kebbi Community

Gunmen have killed scores of residents during a midnight raid in Dan-Kade village in Unashi district under the Zuru chiefdom of Kebbi State.

The exact number of the gunmen remain unknown, it was gathered that the bandits had invaded the village killing scores of people in the attack on Sunday night.

A resident of the village, Bello Dankade, said, “Many were killed and their corpses burnt. We can’t tell the number of fatalities right now. We are left wondering why terror killings seem to be on the rise, particularly in the North-West region.”
