Dele Adeleke Responds To Davido, Gives A Promise

Dele Adeleke, has replied his cousin, David Adeleke, aka Davido saying he never insulted or denigrated the memory of his mother saying that he respected his decision to support their uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke in the battle between them for the Osun State governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

It was the first time that Dele Adeleke would come out to respond to the public call out by Davido who in a series of tweets since Tuesday has been hitting on his cousin.

Dele Adeleke responded on the second day after Davido accused him of denigrating the memory of his mother, Vero Adeleke who according to the music star brought him, Dele Adeleke after he lost his mother at an early age.

Earlier on Tuesday, Davido had called out Dele Adeleke of forming to be an intellectual despite coming out of the university with a second class lower degree.

Dele Adeleke said that he had tried to reach Davido through his Whatsapp, said he was, however, unsuccessful as his messages didn’t go through apparently meaning that Davido had blocked him on the messaging channel.

In a series of tweets responding to Davido, Dele Adeleke said:

Dear David, For whatever this is worth to you, please note that I lost my mother at a tender age like you and would never allow anyone to denigrate her nor her memory. I will NEVER write nor say anything against my Auntie Vero, who I cherish dearly….1/5

2/5 You are the king of social media & you definitely know people take it upon themselves to write whatever they believe will give them clout. So many of your fans came to my SM handles to threaten me and some even asked me to go and die. Did you send them to threaten my life?.

3/5…I seriously doubt it and I do not believe you will do such thing. So, irrespective of politics, please note that I am not that kind of person; I have maintained decorum in the face of provocation and I will continue to do so.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Senator Ademola Adeleke and Dele Adelke are among a handful of aspirants seeking the Osun State PDP governorship ticket and that Davido had shown his preference for their uncle.

Dele Adeleke had in 2018 served as the returning officer to Ademola Adeleke but has this time decided to run.
