More Doubts As Mercy Aigbe’s Ex-Husband Confirms Paternity Of Son

Lanre Gentry, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has confirmed his fatherhood of  their son, Olajuwon, which they had during their seven-year marriage. However, doubts have trailed his confirmation with many on social media saying he was trying to protect the boy.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that upon Mercy Aigbe’s revelation of the identity of her new lover, Kazim Adeoti, social media users raised concerns over the resemblance of the actress’ son and her new lover.

A twitter user,  @emmaikumeh who placed the picture of Adeoti besides that of the boy wrote:

“The resemblance between Mercy Aigbe’s son and her new husband is striking. She cannot even deny it.

“I hope her ex-husband does a paternity test. Things are happening. Every day, we see stories that reinforce the need to do DNA as a father. The street is military.”

Confirming the paternity, Gentry took to his Instagram page on Monday, saying, “What is life? I thank everyone for your comments and advice about my lovely son, Olajuwon Gentry.

“My son is my son 100%. I love him so much. There is nothing in this world that can separate me from my children.”

Despite a rain of insults, Mercy Aigbe had on Monday, January 24, 2022 the new lover’s birthday made a number of posts celebrating him.

Mercy Aigbe separated from Lanre Gentry amidst claims of domestic violence and the two have since then fought on social media in an annual ritual especially on Father’s Day with the actress insinuating that her estranged husband was not a responsible father.

However, the revelation of the new lover raised insinuations as to the identity of the real father of her son Olajuwon who bears a striking resemblance to her new lover more than the known father.

Lanre Gentry’s confirmation of his fatherhood of the son, however, did not convince many on twitter on Tuesday.
