Lagos Hotel Owner Allegedly Drugged, Killed By Wife After Dubai Vacation

The Police in Lagos have arrested the wife of the owner of Bama Hotel, Lagos and three others after the wife was  alleged to have killed her hotelier husband to death. The incident happened just after their return from a vacation in Dubai.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that the wife of the owner of the popular Bama Hotel and Suites, Abule-Egba, allegedly stabbed her husband on Monday night after finding out that  he had impregnated another lady.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, said the body of the deceased had been deposited at  the Yaba Mainland Hospital’s morgue for autopsy.

He added, “The deceased’s wife and three others had been arrested in connection with the suspected murder case.

“Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has directed that the case be transferred immediately to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, for diligent investigation,” he said.

NAN gathered that the deceased hotel owner, known as Bama, was reportedly killed by his wife after she reportedly attacked him in his sleep after being drugged. The couple were married for eight years and had three children.

The couple, according to reports gathered, recently returned from Dubai when the unfortunate incident occurred. (NAN)
