New Questions Over Queen Naomi’s Status In Ooni’s Palace After New Video

Questions over the status and inclinations of Evangelist Naomi Silekunola as queen of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, were being raised on Wednesday after she posted an ambiguous message on Instagram late on Tuesday.

It is the first known message she has posted since she announced her separation from His Royal Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife last December.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Queen Naomi had in a terse message last December announced that she was leaving the marriage after three years following irreconcilable differences. She made it clear in the message that her departure was not because of new women that may have entered into the Ooni’s harem. However, the mother of the monarch’s only son was said to have been approached for reconciliation by some prominent Yoruba personalities and there were reports that she would be moving back into the palace.

However, her marital status has remained unknown since then and unlike in the past she has not been seen with the monarch in the public.

A new twist to the status of Queen Naomi in the Ooni’s home came on Tuesday as her posting on her Insta story further complicated matters for the public as she posted a message

In the video post recorded apparently after a makeup session on Tuesday night, Queen Naomi is heard rhyming to the music of William Beeley.

She moved her head to the lyrics of the song thus “I’m a beauri, I be spec, I drip glory, I be nobody’s ex, haters go hate o, potatoes will potate”

Queen Naomi’s assertion that she is nobody’s ex has further complicated the definition of her status as to whether she is married, separated or an ex of the Ooni of Ife.
