Reactions As Aisha Buhari Rides Abuja-Kaduna Train

A picture of the first lady of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari aboard the Abuja-Kaduna train has gone viral on social media, eliciting various reactions.

Aisha Buhari had on Thursday, 10th February, 2022 visited Kano to demand justice for murdered five-year-old Kano indigene, Hanifa Abubakar who was kidnapped and killed by her school proprietor.

The media team of the first lady shared photos and video of Mrs Buhari boarding a flight from Kano to Kaduna, after which pictures of her trip to Abuja by train were released. Aisha who sat next to her younger brother, Mahmud Ahmad, also had her aides on board.

Military men and operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) were seen behind the compartment of the train where she sat.

Reacting to the picture of Aisha Buhari on the train, social media users took different positions. While some slammed the first lady, labelling the move as a gimmick, others lauded her on her effort.
