Antonio Conte’s 13 Year Record Falls As Wolves Devour Tottenham

Antonio Conte on Sunday lost his third straight league game as Tottenham Hotspur manager, 0-2 to Wolves, a development that has tainted his managerial record being the first time that has happened in15 years.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that at the start of Antonio Conte’s regime, Tottenham began brightly with an unbeaten 9-game run in the Premier League.

Their recent poor run of defeat began in the hands of North London rivals, Chelsea, who handed them their first defeat in the league, and besides that, knocking them out of the Carabao Cup in the Semi final in two defeats at home and away.

A disappointing loss at home to Southampton followed and that was painfully after they took a 2-1 lead in the second half.

Wolves on Sunday piled on the misery for Spurs as they inflicted a dampening win away from home. This latest loss means no good for the Italian manager as Antonio Conte has now lost three games in a row for the first time since 2009.

Troubling times for Tottenham and Antonio Conte as they will need a miracle to now secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.

For Wolves, they have now boosted their European hopes with the 0-2 victory away at Tottenham Hotspur. Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker got the goals for the away side to move them a place above Tottenham who slip to 8th. After losing to their last three games to Chelsea, Southampton and Wolves, with the last two losses coming at home, ottenham are now in a tough battle not just for morale but also for European action next season.  Those losses have placed their top four hopes in grave danger.

For Chelsea fans who felt abandoned by Conte during his stint at the club, this may well be relishing the negative record and circumstances of their former hero.
