The Emefiele Support Group, UK has appreciated the growing national support for the 2023 presidential aspiration of Mr. Godwin Emefiele saying that it underlines the national consensus for his emergence as president.

The group in a statement issued by its chairman, Mr. Patrick Emuh andmade available to  GreenWhiteGreen GWG affirmed that Mr. Emefiele’s support base is beyond the All Progressives Congress, APC as partisans of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and previously non-partisan individuals are climbing the bandwagon.

“We are enthused by the nationwide support that is emerging for the Emefiele 2023 aspiration which shows his strength of character and purpose. We Nigerians living in the United Kingdom are proud to associate with this positive development in our country which we believe will bolster our country’s position in the comity of nations.

Noting the bipartisan consensus that the Emefiele aspiration has been spurning, the UK support group added:

“We make bold to say here that Mr. Emefiele has been drawing in supporters from all sections of the political divide in our country and here in the UK. Though we know that the aspiration would be conveyed through the All Progressives Congress, APC it is a thing of joy that individuals in the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and other political groups are queuing behind him. It shows that he is the appropriate person needed to drive the ship of state after President Muhammadu Buhari.”

Concluding, the Emefiele Support Group, UK urged supporters not to relent saying that the dream must come to pass.

“We urge those in the engine room not to relent and to continue to urge Mr. Emefiele to heed the national clamour on him to step into the 2023 race.”
