Ondo Community Leader Escapes After Kidnappers Sleep Off
A community leader identified as Chief Ojo Ajaguna in Igasi Akoko in the Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State has regained his freedom by making a daring escape while his kidnappers slept.
A resident of the community said that Ajaguna’s escape from the kidnappers was followed by wild celebration in the town after news filtered in of the development.

The resident said;
“The victim regained his freedom when the assailants slept off in the forest. The entire Igasi Akoko community was agog when he came back”
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed that Ajaguna has regained freedom after being kidnapped.
Odunlami said;
“Yes, it was reported to us that the victim was abducted, but he came back home safely and we have commenced investigation into the matter,” he said of the escape of the Akoko, community leader from the hands of kidnappers in Ondo State.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG, however, reports that a nursing mother in Ogun State, Salimot Ajibola, who was kidnapped along the Rounder area in the Abeokuta-North Local Government Area of Ogun State was, however, not that lucky as her family was made to pay N3 million ransom before she was released. News emerged on Monday that the nursing mother was released after her family paid the ransom that was negotiated down from N30 million by the unknown gunmen.
