Manchester United’s £72milllion star Jadon Sancho seems to be showing glimpses of his glittering best under new interim manager Ralf Ragnick, that saw the Red Devils sign him from Dortmund last summer.

Since signing for United at the start of the 2021-22 season, the 21-year-old has suffered a difficult first season in England as he has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League for the larger part of his young career at Old Trafford. Under former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Sancho failed to register a single goal or assist in all competitions up until November last year when the Norwegian was sacked.

The fortune of Jadon Sancho, however, changed not long after as he bagged his first goal in the Champions League against Villarreal and followed that up with another at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea to score his first in the Premier League.

His mediocre performances at the start of the season saw him often dropped to the bench as he got little or no game time to revive himself. But since the apointment of Ralf Ragnick, the young Englishman has started to rediscover his fine form, playing consistently and performing brilliantly.

Under the German manager, Sancho has been given more game time and freedom to express his flair and dribbling abilities mostly on the left flank, and in his last seven games, he has managed two goals and two assists in all competitions.

Jadon Sancho may have been considered a flop by many, but the young man’s talent is undeniable and with his recent good run of form he is on the road to become a world class star and a possible hero at Manchester United.
