Breaking: ASUU Extends Strike For Two More Months

The National Executive Committee, NEC of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has resolved to extend the ongoing warning strike for another two months.
The decision to extend the strike was taken at the union’s NEC meeting held in Abuja on Sunday night.
The communique to the effect was being drafted to be released to the media GreenWhiteGreen GWG gathered.
The union had last February resolved to embark on a one-month strike to force the Federal Government into heeding past agreements reached with the union on the running of the universities in the country. The one month strike was also preceded by a three day warning strike.
