Here’s a list of the top five most followed clubs in the world of football. This is based on the number of supporters on their social media platforms:

Real Madrid

The Spanish giants have over 250 million fans across social media. Madrid has over 111.2 million followers on Facebook, 37.5 million on Twitter, 99.5 on million on Instagram and 6.52 million subscribers on YouTube.

 Barcelona

The Catalonian giants have over 200 million followers on social media. Instagram as a platform for the club holds 97.5 million, Facebook 103 million, Twitter, 36.9 million and lastly 11.8 million YouTube subscribers and is the second most followed football club in the world.

Manchester United

The Old Trafford club has the most popular kit in the world and it is the third most popular football team. The Red-Devils boast over 41million followers on Instagram, 73 million on Facebook, 32.7 million on Twitter and 4.08 million YouTube subscribers.

Juventus

 Juventus are the biggest Italian team and the second most successful team in Serie A.

The followers of the club are about 49.3 million with 44 million 9.2 million on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter respectively with 3.44 million subscribers on YouTube.

Chelsea

The current Champion Leagues and World Club winners have over 27.3 million followers, 49 million on Facebook, 17.1 million followers on Twitter and subscribers of YouTube 2.9 million followers.
