‘After Arrest, What Next”, Reactions Trail Arrest Of Police Officer Who Extorted Motorist For Tint Permit
Police operatives in Lagos State have arrested a police officer, Inspector Dele Reuben, who was captured in a viral video harassing a motorist for tinted glasses permit.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who made known in a statement on Friday, March 25, said the officer is currently undergoing disciplinary procedures at the State headquarters, Ikeja.
According to him, “The command wishes to inform the general public that Inspector Dele Reuben, the officer captured on video harassing a motorist for the now-suspended tinted glasses permit, has been apprehended and is currently undergoing disciplinary procedures at the State Headquarters, Ikeja.
His arrest came on the heels of the directive of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, that the errant officer is identified, arrested and decisively de@lt with.”
