My Post About Hoes And Wives Wasn’t About My Ex Mercy Eke – Ike Clears Air

Former BBNaija reality star Ike Onyema has said that his post about trying to change a ‘hoe into a housewife’ was not about his former girlfriend and fellow reality star Mercy Eke.

Ike made this known in an Instagram post to clear the air.

According to Ike, the Tik Tok video where he insinuated it was difficult to change a hoe into a housewife was not in any way directed at Mercy Eke as many believed.

Clearing the air, Ike said he respects and cares for Mercy who recently lost her dad. He noted that they have both moved on and are happy.

“Hey! I usually won’t say anything regarding assumptions and speculations around my post, but I think it’s high time I address this issue, especially if someone I respect and care for is being mentioned knowing fully well she’s going through a loss. My post/TikTok wasn’t in any way to shade anyone.

“She was a part of my journey. We’ve both moved on and are happy. Moving forward I hope my post do not seem like a subliminal shade. Thank you,” he wrote.

The estranged lovers became close during their stay in Big Brother house, they dated for some months and created their own reality show Mercy & Ike Show before they separated.
