Why I Was Absent At Rita Dominic’s Wedding – RMD

Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo has given reason for his absence at Rita Dominic’s wedding.

Recall that Rita Dominic tied the knot traditionally with Fidelis Anosike on Tuesday in Imo State.

The star-studded ceremony had the likes of Chidi Mokeme, Kate Henshaw, Joke Silva, Ini Edo and many others.

Nigerians while celebrating Rita’s marriage, queried the absence of some Nollywood stars like Genevieve Nnaji, RMD and Mercy Johnson.

RMD, took to his Instagram page on Friday revealing why he was absent at the wedding.

He noted that he would have loved to grace the ‘epic event’.

His post read: “Congratulations my beautiful Riri @ritadominic. I would have loved to grace this epic event but I’m far far away.

“Here is a toast to your beautiful union. God bless your marriage.”

Meanwhile, the actress, Rita Dominic has replied to one of her fans who claimed to have been crushing on her for over two decades and is disappointed she’s now married.

The Fan, @kaizer747 took to Twitter to react to a short video documentary of Rita Dominic’s traditional marriage with her man, Fidelis Anosike which was held a few days ago.

“Congratulations once again, Queen. I crushed on you and @HenshawKate for almost two decades now. Now I am fully focused on her now. No more distractions. Happy married life. You deserve this and many more.” the Fan wrote.
