Actor Junior Pope Reveals New Slang Kidnappers Use To Capture Victim

Nollywood star actor, Junior Pope Odowondo has shared vital information to his fans on the new mode of operation used by kidnappers.

The actor took to his Instagram page and advised people boarding commercial vehicles to be wary of some words used by drivers while revealing two new words being used by some kidnappers.

He alleged that “Garri and Sugar” are the new slangs used by kidnappers now, with “Garri” indicating adult, and “Sugar” for kids.

Pope wrote: “please be informed of this new system, GARRI OR SUGAR: please be informed, if you’re in a car, bus or keke where the driver is making a call saying “GARRI” OR “SUGAR” he’s a kidnapper, quietly step down immediately, GARRI means adult while SUGAR means kids.”

Pope also urged people to share the information so they can save others from the hand of kidnappers.

This information stirred numerous reactions from social media users, while many thanked the actor for the vital information, as they find it very helpful, others also dropped the terms they have also learnt kidnappers used these days, after an encounter with them on the road.
