Nollywood actress cum producer, Halima Abubakar has accused many Nollywood producers of demanding sex before giving out roles to many actresses, a claim that is bound to exacerbate the controversy of sex exploitation in Nigeria’s burgeoning movie industry.

The thespian made this known while responding to a tweet from a tweep who tried to confirm if it was true that Nollywood producers demand for sex from actresses in exchange for roles.

The Tweep wrote: “Serious!! That means it’s true that producers do demands sex from female actresses b4 casting them in movies. Our sisters are not safe”

Replying, she confirmed:

“So many yes”

She also went on to disclose that it is because of the high demand for sex from producers that made her to start producing her own films.

She said: “I left Twitter not Nollywood. I produce my own movies. I no get strength for sex,” she said.

Halima Abubakar’s claim on the sex for role saga by producers came as Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend, Ray J has revealed that Kim’s 2007 sex tape was a business partnership planned between him, Kim and Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner.

Ray also revealed that the s3x tape was aimed at making Kim popular after Kim’s friend Paris Hilton became popular when her s3x tape leaked.

Ray J while posting screenshots of his chats with Kim Kardashian where he confronted her for lying about him and spoiling his name in her family’s Hulu reality show questioned why she is now making him look like the bad person when it was she and her mother who leaked the video themselves.
