Nollywood Mourns As Veteran Actor, Gbenga Richards Dies
Nollywood veteran actor, Gbenga Richards has been reported dead.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG gathered that, the Nollywood icon was confirmed dead on Thursday May, 12 after battling with an illness for a very long time. However, as at the time of this report, the illness was yet to be ascertained.
Recall that last year, some of the thespian’s colleagues had made a public appeal for people to donate funds in other to save the actor who was battling for his health.

Gbenga Richards was well known for his action scenes and had contributed greatly to the growth and advancement of Nollywood.
The touching news was brought to public notice by a popular media personality and TV director, Femi Adewale, who took to his social media handle to announce the passing on of his ‘friend and brother.’
Sharing a picture of the late Gbenga, he wrote: “ Good night Gbenga Richards.
Another Nollywood icon is gone.
A gem is lost
My friend and brother is gone to be with his creator.
May the Lord rest your soul in Jesus name,” he wrote of the passage of the Nollywood icon, Gbenga Richards.
Meanwhile, popular actress Annie Idibia has supported fellow actress Georgina Onuoha in her defense of their colleague Genevieve Nnaji against malicious bloggers and critics following speculations of her mental breakdown.
