Osinachi: Family Considers Returning Bride Price, Announces Funeral Arrangement

Burial arrangements for the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu who died under controversial circumstances have been revealed by her family.

BBC News Igbo in a report quoted family sources as saying that the ‘Ekwueme’ singer would be buried on June 25, 2022.

According to the family, she will be laid to rest in her father’s compound at Isuochi, Abia State and not her husband’s house.

The family also noted that they are deliberating on returning Osinachi’s bride price to her husband, Peter Nwachukwu’s family.

Recall that, Osinachi died on April 8 after silently suffering domestic violence from her husband who in his defence denied responsibility for her death saying that she suffered from mouth cancer!

His assertions were, however, denied by relations of the late Osinachi and her friends who accused the husband of being a malevolent character.

The Attorney-General of the Federation slammed 23-count charges against Peter over the death of Osinachi.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has taken to her official social media account to declare that she will never advise anyone against finding and falling in love.

The chubby thespian who revealed this in a post on her Instagram page said that she will never advise anyone against finding and falling in love despite what she has been through in relationships.
