Popular gospel singer, Tim Godfrey has revealed that he has performed the traditional observance of marriage to his wife, Erica weeks after they got married in the United States.

This comes weeks after their wedding in the US at what was a more private ceremony without most of their Nigerian family members and associates. The singer has now revealed that besides the expectation of the church wedding that he has also undergone the traditional marriage rites in Nigeria.

Recall that In April 2022, Tim Godfrey and his then fiancée, Erica Jones tied the knot to become one. The lovebirds held their wedding ceremony in Culpeper, VA, United States on Saturday, April 23rd.

However, in a recent development, Tim Godfrey took to his socials hours ago to announce that he has also undergone the traditional marriage rites in Nigeria.

The singer’s traditional wedding took place at a private ceremony at an undisclosed location in Nigeria.

His friend and colleague , Timi Dakolo serenaded them with his beautiful songs during the ceremony. Tim Godfrey wrote: “@ericakatrinagodfrey I promise to love you forever and for always!
