Cubana Club Shooting: Eyewitness Says Lady Went To Take Picture With Burna Boy

A new narrative in the controversy over the reported shooting incident involving security escorts of music star, Burna Boy was emerging on Monday after an alleged eyewitness claimed that the lady at the centre of the incident was the one who went to take pictures with Burna Boy.

The eyewitness claims that the picture opportunity was what provoked Briella Neme’s partner into a physical confrontation with Burna Boy and his escorts. 

This narrative is coming hours after Briella Neme took to social media to give her detailed account  of the incident.

Taking to her Instagram page, Briella stated that she took time to heal and process the events that occurred which left her partner and her best friend’s husband hospitalized.

According to her, they all went to Cubana club in Lagos at 3am to celebrate their childhood friend who was getting married when the ill-fated incident happened.

She also alleged that Obi Cubana reached out to her after three days claiming he had no idea of everything that went wrong.

The club couldn’t even provide a CCTV footage or statement of the incident and business has carried on in the club.

However, in a recent development, an eyewitness has faulted her claim.

Taking to Twitter, the eye witness simply identified as King Kong hinted that the lady had gone to take pictures with Burna Boy. Angered by this, her partner reportedly violently went over to drag her out from Burna Boy. According to the Twitter user, he was resisted for confronting the singer.

Things escalated from there and Burna Boy decided to leave when the man attacked him and in defense, the policemen attached to the singer shot into the air.

Burna Boy laughed at the situation because it was funny to him how am ordinary picture taking activity could turn messy.

The twitter user who claimed to be an eyewitness to the shooting involving the Burna Boy entourage wrote: “What really happened at Club Cubana.

The guy’s so called wife went to snap with Burna Boy in the VIP top corner and instead of him to wait till she returns, he went there violently to drag her out, then he was resisted for his confrontational approach by Burna’s security.

Immediately after things started escalating Burna decided to leave with bis people. But the same guys crying foul made advance to attack Burna. It was the policemen attached to Burna, shot to disperse them accidentally hitting two guys.

Burna throughout was just trying to avoid the situation, he was even laughing (like what the fuck is this) but this guy’s wanted more than the whole issue, and made his kind gesture taking selfie with a perceived fan escalate quickly’.
