I Left Nigeria To Become Rich, Eldee Tha Don Reveals

Nigerian-born rapper, Eldee the Don has said he left Nigeria because he chose to be rich over looking rich.

The rapper said this while responding to an Instagram user who commented on his post saying that America is full of depression and that it’s easier to make it in Nigeria than in America.

“Nothing dey Yankee. Na depression. Its a trillion times easier to make it in Nigeria than America. America is overrated.” The Instagram user wrote.

Reacting to the comment, Eldee said he has no single regret leaving Nigeria as his life is now exactly as he envisioned it in 2012 when he decided to relocate.

“Its all about perspective, everybody’s journey is different. The real question is what your definition of ‘make it’s is.

“I don’t for a second regret my japa. My life today is exactly as I envisioned it in 2012 when I decided I was finally done with my naija journey.

“We all have different goals and priorities in life. I chose being rich over looking rich. The only way I could have accomplished what I have today in naija is if I stole the money. And I no Sabi thief.” He replied.
