Osinachi: Burial Convoy Escapes Kidnap In Abia

Guests on the way to the burial of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu were on Saturday recounting their stories of deliverance after they escaped what was alleged to be a kidnap attempt that was staged on their way as they approached the burial venue. 

According to multiple reports, gunmen invaded Umuaku road, Abia State in broad daylight, putting many of those who were in the travelling party in disarray.

An eyewitness who filmed the moment buses and private vehicles all stopped by the roadside to ascertain the danger level before proceeding, recounted that the suspected gunmen staged the kidnap attempt to to prevent Osinachi from being buried on Saturday as scheduled. No reason was given for the speculation or allegation.

The remains of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, will be buried on Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Abia State.

The burial is to take place at her father’s compound in Isuochi.

Meanwhile, Depression was turning into a matter of much discussion at the weekend as Nigerians mourned the death through suicide of an Abuja based photographer who left a cryptic note as he ended his life.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the Abuja-based photographer identified as Emmanuel Omole shook the social media after he reportedly committed suicide in his residence.
