Peter Obi Is A Simple Trader, Lacks Economic Knowledge – Joe Igbokwe

Anambra born but Lagos based All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain Mr Joe Igbokwe has dismissed the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi as a simple trader bereft of sound economic judgment.

Joe Igbokwe spoke after Peter Obi flayed the stance towards infrastructure development by the current APC government as not working.

Igbokwe said that Peter Obi who has nurtured a new breed of political activists known as OBIdients as an overrated political figure.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG had in a recent comment flayed the Buhari government inclinations towards boosting the economy through infrastructure as not working.

“You can’t use infrastructure to drive economic growth. You invest in education and the SME (Small, Medium Enterprises) sector instead to deal with poverty,” Obi who was a former governor of Anambra State had said.

Responding to Peter Obi through a Facebook comment, Joe Igbokwe dismissed the Labour Party presidential candidate as “just a trader.”

In his Facebook post, Igbokwe wrote: “Somebody who wants to be the President of Nigeria is telling you that infrastructure does not drive the economy in the 21st Century and you are taking that person seriously. Peter [Obi] is overrated in Nigeria. He is just a trader.

“Obiano built the Anambra International Airport, built the Awka flyover bridge. Which one did Mr Obi build in 8 years? “ Igbokwe said in dismissing Peter Obi as a common trader bereft of economic knowledge.
