Tinubu In Paris Looking After His Health – Maina Waziri, PDP BoT Chief

A leading member of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri has alleged that the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Asiawju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in Paris, France attending to his health just as he has cast doubts on the well-being of the APC.

Maina Waziri, a former minister of Police Affairs alleged that the trip to Paris by the APC national leader and presidential candidate was actually a smokescreen to seek medical attention.

He, however, did not give any evidence of his claim besides affirming that he was the first to debunk the claim first raised by APC chief, Joe Igbokwe that Tinubu met with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

Maina Waziri who spoke in an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday evening while insisting on his claim said “There is no fact that will disprove that he is in Paris attending to his health.”

Mr Tunde Rahman, Tinubu’s spokesman did not respond to a call on his registered number as at the time of the story on whether Tinubu was actually looking after his health in Paris.

Further asserting that besides her presidential candidate, Tinubu, that the APC was also in bad health, Maina Waziri said:

“My party is not in distress, the party that is in distress based on its performance in government is APC, the party that is incomplete as of today in preparation for the 2023 election is APC because they have a presidential candidate, they don’t have a vice presidential candidate.

“The party that is distress is APC because there are so many legitimate questions about their candidate from his, they are all there; they are the party distressed.

“But we know that they have a tremendous propaganda machinery. We will appeal to members of the Fourth Realm to try to steer Nigerians to the issues at stake. What are we having now? A rundown economy, terrible insecurity, mis-governance, everything you know could not happen ten years ago is now happening now.”
