Surprise As Buhari Demotes Saraki, Moves Mamora In Cabinet Reshuffle

President Muhammadu Buhari has reshuffled his cabinet following the inauguration of the seven newly inaugurated new ministers leading to Senator Gbemisola Saraki being returned as a junior minister after having held forth in acting capacity as the senior minister of transportation since May.

Saraki has been returned as a junior minister in the ministry of Solid Minerals while Umana Okon Umana has been appointed as the substantive minister of Niger Delta.

In another shocking development, Senator Olorunimbe Mamora, a medical doctor who has held forth as minister of State for Health has also been moved to the same position as Minister of State, Science and Technology.

The new appointments are as follows:

1. Umana Okon Umana- Minister of Niger delta affairs

2.Gbemisola Saraki- Minister for state mines and steel

3. Olorunimbe Mammora- Minister of , Science and Technology

4. Sharon Ikeazor- Minister of state Niger delta affairs

6.Muazu Jaji Sambo- Minister of transportation

7.Umar Ibrahim El yakub- Minister of state works and housing

8.Goodluck Nanah Opiah- Minister of state education

9.Ekumankama Joseph Nkama- Minister of state Heath

10. Ikoh Henry ikechukwu- Minister of state, Science and Technology

11. Odum Udi- Minister of state, Environment

12. Ademola Adewole Adegoroye- Minister of state, Transportation.

No reason was given by Buhari for the surprising reshuffle of Saraki, Mamora at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
