Silverbird Journalist, Favour Otu Resigns To Support Obi, Baba-Ahmed Fulltime

A broadcast journalist with Silverbird Television, Abuja, Favour Bassey Otu has resigned to give herself fully to the project of electing Mr Peter Obi and Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed as president and vice-president respectively.

The lady with a five year experience announced the development in a tweet on Saturday. She said she hopes to return to the industry after the elections or perhaps start a business.

The news has been welcomed with rapturous approval by the OBIdient supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate.

There were, however, words of caution on others not to follow her steps.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Ms Favour Otu who joined Silverbird as a business reporter in Abuja after her NYSC scheme in Ebonyi State about five years ago shocked even colleagues with the news.

She said:

Her action was commended by several passionate followers of Obi who wished her well in her endeavours.

There was, however, one critic who lashed out at her saying that she and Obi would turn out as losers.
