Echoes Of Deborah As Nigerians Slam Muslim-Muslim Ticket

Reminders of the gruesome murder of Deborah Samuel, a year two student Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto over alleged blasphemy came to fore on Monday as Nigerians slammed the Muslim-Muslim ticket offered by the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

To many Nigerians if Deborah could be slain when there is a sitting Christian vice-president, they wondered what would come up if the Muslim-Muslim ticket as envisioned by Tinubu comes to play.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that, the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has confirmed Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate in the forthcoming presidential election.

However, as many continue to express mixed reservations on the decision, the murder of Deborah was turning into a trend on twitter with many expressing concern that it could become a pattern with a Muslim-Muslim ticket in office.
