Lagos: “I Have The Fans And Followers” Funke Akindele Brags

Popular Nollywood actress turned politician, Funke Akindele, has revealed that she can bring victory to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP using her huge fan base among others.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the thespian was recently unveiled as the deputy governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State. Her unveiling has been met with mixed receptions

The mother of two who revealed this during an interview on Channels TV expressed confidence that her over 15 million fans on Instagram would not disappoint her on voting day.

According to Funke Akindele, aside from her many followers and fans on social media, she has supporters at the grassroots level.

“I have these fans and followers. I feel their pains. I hear people nag. I watch TV; I feel their pain. I’m going out there to proffer solutions,” she said.

Meanwhile, GreenWhiteGreen GWG has reported that Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as ‘Portable’ has taken a swipe at Afrobeat superstar, Davido for unfollowing him on social media due to alleged  political interest.

While Davido is well-known as a Peoples Democratic Party supporter with his uncle Ademola Adeleke as Osun governorship candidate of the party, Portable had been rooting for Gov. Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The “Zazu” crooner, in several videos, was seen rooting for Oyetola and APC presidential candidate,  Sen.  Bola  Tinubu.
