Knocks, Kudos Trail Peter Obi’s Welcome At Dunamis Mid Year Service

Mixed reactions were on Saturday trailing the Friday night rapturous welcome given the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi at the 2022 ‘Mid-Year’ service of the Dunamis International Gospel Center, on Friday.

GreenWhiteGreen gathered that the service was tagged “the Judgement Praise Night with Pastor Paul Enenche.”

A video which has turned viral captures the moment Enenche’s wife, Becky acknowledged the former Anambra State governor during the prayer vigil of the church on Friday evening.

Becky Enenche while introducing Obi to the congregation, said: “And we also have tonight, Mr Peter Obi who has joined for the service this evening.”

The congregation received him with massive cheers and a standing ovation that took some time to quieten down.

Another video showed Peter Obi joining Enenche in an intercession prayer for Nigeria.

The video has so far generated massive reactions from social media users putting Peter Obi on top trends on the microblogging app, Twitter.

While many particularly the ‘Obedient’ hailed Peter Obi for attending the service and praying for Nigeria, others fired him, describing his attendant in the church as a show of ‘eye service’.
