Nigerian Marriage proposal Lagos

A marine engineer and a prince from Eruku in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, identified as Adegbenga Dada has pleaded with a High Court for divorce after revealing that his wife demands money from him before s3x.

Dada, while pleading for the dissolution of his 28-year-old marriage as a result of adultery, told a High Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State described his wife, Roseline Dada, as promiscuous, a development that has affected her domestic duties.

According to him, his wife had involved their female children in her promiscuous behavior by sending them on errands to collect money from her numerous lovers.

Dada said: “My wife abandoned our bedroom and packed to the guest room. She would insist unless I issue cheque for substantial amount, she would not succumb to my sexual advances. Any failure to issue cheque will result in total denial.

The marriage has broken down because my wife and I are no longer able to sit down together to discuss about our lives and that of our children.”

Roseline, on the other hand countered the allegations leveled against her by her husband and accused the prince of adultery.

However, she agreed to the divorce but pleaded with the court to grant her part ownership of their Lagos building which she claimed was a joint project executed by her and the petitioner.

During the trial, the counsel to the petitioner, Mr. Josiah Adebayo, said the nude pictures of the respondent with a lover retrieved from her phone was to add to the weight of the evidence and not to ridicule her.

Delivering her judgement, Justice S.T Abdulqadri granted the dissolution of the marriage, saying she found the evidence presented before the Court on the allegations of adultery against the respondent to be true.
