Recall that, Zack Orji came under severe attack after sharing a video on social media in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

Orji, in the video described Tinubu as a chief crusader, and a man who stands for equity, fair play and national cohesion.

He said in part: “My support for Asiwaju Tinubu is personal. I’ve lived in Lagos for over 40 years of my life. I’ve always known this man as a chief crusader for the democratic consolidation of our country Nigeria.

“I’ve always known him (Tinubu) as a man who stands for equity, fair play and national cohesion.”

His video post was, however, attacked by some of his followers who dug up old videos where he firmly canvassed for the next president of the country to come from the Southeast. Several others also attacked the Nollywood star for being motivated by selfish considerations.

However, in a recent update, Keyamo via his verified Twitter page took sides with Zack Orji while stating that Tinubu laid the foundation for Lagos state to be what it is today.

Keyamo thanked Orji for what he referred to as ‘insightful and well thought out support’.

According to him the younger generation should be educated about Tinubu’s achievements in Lagos State.

Sharing the video by Zack Orji, he wrote: “Thank you, Zack Orji, for this insightful and well thought out support. For those who are old enough to have lived in Lagos before 1999, let us continue to educate the much younger ones about the revolution that Lagos is today, the foundation of which was laid by @officialABAT.”

His post has generated mixed reactions from social media users.

@danielregha: Tinubu lied about his age, & feeling entitled to become the next president of Nig, these two things alone makes him unw¤rthy; Zack Orji plus everyone supporting the APC in the forthcoming elections are either being paid or are letting sentiments cl¤ud their sense of reasoning.

@streakme03: To set the record straight Jakande laid the foundation of Lagos state. Misinformation is the hallmark of APC government.

@judeorazulike: Zack spoke his mind. He may have received a lot of financial help from Tinubu.

If Zack were to be 86yrs old, would he be contesting to be Nigerian president? Aso Rock is not old people’s home and we are not on set for a Nollywood movie shoot. Presidency is a real work!

@iamasiwaju1: Dear SAN, I agree with you on the candidacy of BAT. Someone of us are only concerned about his health ands baba looks truly old and fail. We need to know if he’s fit for the rigors of the office.
