Reno Omokri Knocks Oshiomhole Over Ignorance Of Christians’ Persecution

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has fired a direct shot at the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adam Oshiomhole over a recent statement he made about Christians persecution on Arise TV.

Recall that Oshiomhole, during an interview on Arise TV, countered claims of Christians being persecuted in Nigeria.

According to the former Governor of Edo State, he has heard Christians talk about being persecuted but rebuffed the claims saying that there was no evidence to back such. 

In the short clip shared on Instagram, Oshiomhole said: “I heard Christians talking about being persecuted have we seen the evidence, I don’t think they have bordered to show the evidence.”

Reacting, Reno described Oshimhole’s statement as very sad and questioned how he could have made such a statement on National TV.

Reno Omokri wrote: “Very sad to see Adams Oshiomhole say on AriseTV that he has not seen evidence of Christians being persecuted in Nigeria. Very sad indeed. How could he have said that? Has he forgotten the words of Christ? “whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father”-Matthew 10:33″

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Reno Omokri who was in the past described as a Christian pastor is a champion for the release of Leah Sharibu, the only school girl held back from the kidnap of the Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe State. Leah Sharibu was held back because she refused to renounce her Christian faith when her fellow Muslim colleagues were released.
