How Kidnappers Starved Us – Cynthia Okereke Speaks After Release
Veteran Nollywood actress Cynthia Okereke has recounted her ordeal with the kidnappers who abducted her and fellow actor Clemson Cornel.
In a video posted on Instagram on Friday, the actress said they were starved for one week before their abductors finally released them.

Cynthia Okereke also expressed her gratitude to her colleagues, family and fans who supported them during the ordeal.
She said: “God is a faithful God. I have every cause to say Hallelujah in the land of the living. To God be the glory for all of you, your efforts your prayers, your encouragement, Mama Cynthia Okereke alive. I will act for you people and continue to be acting for you people. For good one week, I was there no water no food but today I say God to you be all the glory.”
Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, aka Agbogidi, were reported missing on Thursday when they did not return home from a film location in Ozalla Town, Enugu State.
Their abductors contacted their families on Saturday to demand $100,000 as ransom.
An offer of N1.2million as ransom was rebuffed by the kidnappers according to Emeka Rollas.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria announced their release on Wednesday.
