According to Babajide, the thugs attacked his parents’ house in Ede after attacking him and some PDP members during a ward meeting in the town on Friday evening.

Furthermore, he revealed that his father has not been seen since his house was burnt down and the incident has created panic among the residents of the town.

He said: “Some armed thugs attacked us during a ward meeting of PDP in Ede yesterday (Friday). After that, I left for Osogbo. Later, I was told that they were attacking my parents’ house. They burnt the house and since then, I have not seen my father.

“We don’t know if he’s burnt alive inside the house or they have kidnapped him.”

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the attack on the family house of the Osun lawmaker came as Davido called on Governor Gboyega Oyetola to do the right thing and congratulate Senator Ademola Adeleke instead of going to the tribunal.
