The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, SAN who has been newly appointed as the spokesman of the Bola Tinubu campaign is generating outrage on social media after his first major television interview on behalf of the APC presidential candidate.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG recalls that Festus Keyamo, who was recently appointed as the spokesperson for the Bola Tinubu presidential campaign team  during an interview session with Channels TV had insisted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar does not have enough leadership experience to become the next president of Nigeria.

According to him, Atiku’s only experience is as a Vice President but the Vice President doesn’t have the final say in making decisions in government.

He also added that both Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu are former Governors who have occupied positions where they can make final decisions.

In his opinion, Obi has more experience in making the final call in governance than Atiku and it would therefore be wrong to hand over the leadership of Nigeria to the PDP candidate come 2023.

However, Nigerians via their handles have reacted to his statement as many noted that the newly appointed spokesperson would would aid the party’s failure in the coming elections.

See reactions gathered:

@monday_shedrach: If Festus Keyamo will continue speaking for Tinubu campaign like he did on channels TV yesterday then I can assure you that APC will lose this election by October this year, we don’t even have to reach 2023.

Arrogant and unrepentant.

@chuka_odike: Nigeria take note as said by the APC spokesman Festus Keyamo on Channels TV. “Peter Obi is ahead of Atiku in terms of leadership experience” Psychologically, this implies that, Peter Obi is ahead of Atiku and Tinubu in terms of leadership experience. Let’s be informed.

@pattosky2: Festus Keyamo in today Channels TV thinks he is talking to his Umunna in his village or Probably think that we are in the law court. Nigerian Youths, young men and women will make a statement in 2023. We are fighting for our survival.

@facultymark: Festus Keyamo is a big disgrace to the entire south south imagine the look on Seun’s face listening to his lies on channels Tv omoh politics can change even the pope.
