Police Transfer Case Of Lesbian Who Killed Lover’s Husband

The Nigerian Police Force, Anambra State Command has confirmed the arrest of a woman, who allegedly stabbed her lesbian partner’s husband to death in Onitsha. In the latest development, the police said that the case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigations Department, CID of the police. 

GWG recalls that Ikechukwu Onuma, a staff of the College of Health, Onitsha, Anambra state was stabbed to death during an argument with his wife’s lesbian lover on Tuesday night, August 9.

The deceased was said to have married Nkemdili, who’s allegedly a lesbian and had been keeping a female sex partner.

There were different accounts of how he died. According to one source, he was reportedly attacked with a kitchen knife after an argument ensued on catching his wife and the suspect in the act after he returned home unexpectedly.

In a later report, another source had disclosed that the victim did not catch them in the act but had gone to the suspect’s house to confront her over an unrelated issue.

The source had revealed that, it was during the confrontation that the lesbian stabbed the deceased twice in the chest leading to his death.

Reacting to the incident, the spokesperson of the command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect has been arrested.

“We have a suspect in custody and the Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to State CID for a proper investigation,” the Anambra Police spokesman said of the arrest of the lesbian. 

Preliminary information shows that the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital before he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.”
