Photos of the damaged campaign banner with the slogan, ‘Emi Lokan’, surfaced on social media and has generated numerous comments from Nigerians who aired their opinions on the damage in respect to the aspiration of Tinubu for the presidency.

The campaign billboard situated at Bariga, off the third mainland bridge, had a part of it destroyed.

While some Nigerians suspected that the Emi Lokan billboard was destroyed by enemies of Tinubu, and as such frowned at the act, others claimed it could be a whirlwind or rain that might have caused the damage.
