“BNXN Will Surely Answer For It If He Spat On An Officer”- Lagos Police
The Police in Lagos have taken to social media to react to claims by popular Nigerian singer, BNXN that he assaulted a police officer by spitting on his face.
A video had earlier surfaced on the internet, that showed the singer and some security personnel involved in an argument.

BNXN via his Twitter handle in a now deleted tweet disclosed that he spat at the police officers and it made him feel good.
Reacting to his claims of spitting on the officer, Lagos Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin said that the singer would answer for his assault on a police officer.
He also stated that the police officers would not be spared if they were found guilty of any inappropriate behavior.
He wrote: “BNXN tweet that he spat in a police officer’s face and it felt so good. He has since deleted the tweet. The police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior if established while BNXN will surely answer to his assault on a police officer”
GWG reports that the police are, however, yet to make a formal charge against BNXN.
