Tinubu Camp Chides Bode George With Hate Speech Over Claims On Alpha Beta

The camp of All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has dismissed Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Lagos leader, Chief Bode George as a purveyor of hate speech following the insinuations he raised over the ownership of the Lagos tax consultancy, Alpha Beta Company.

The remonstration came in response to the latest attack launched against Tinubu by Bode George on Channels Television on Wednesday night following the APC candidate’s visit to President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Bode George had in his response affirmed that Obasanjo would not be swayed by Tinubu to endorse him describing the APC candidate as unpretentiously grabbing the assets of Lagos State.

“I absolutely have no qualms, no quarrel with Tinubu, but all I know is that everything he has said he was or his name is this or his school is that it’s a bundle of lies.

“I have asked a very simple question and none of them has been able to answer it: who owns the Alpha Beta company? How much has the Alpha Beta company stolen from the coffers of our treasury in Lagos state?,” George asked in a poser to Tinubu.

But responding a top source in the Tinubu camp who spoke on the condition of anonymity lampooned Bode George of becoming psychotic anytime Asiwaju’s name is mentioned.

“All you need to rouse Bode George up is to mention Asiwaju and Bode George gets up and becomes combative, he is full of hatred, jealousy and envy.

“Asiwaju has developed Lagos more than any other governor under this democracy. Asiwaju moved forward to identify talents including Babatunde Fashola, Akiwunmi Ambode and now Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

“He (Bode George) is just being envious, it is hatred and I want to call on Nigerians to be cautious of protagonists of hate speech like Bode George,” the Tinubu associate told GWG.

“If Asiwaju should decide to take him to court he will win billions but what does he need the money for?.

Asked on the question from Bode George on Alpha Beta, the Tinubu associate said:

“All I have to say is Alpha Beta is a legal entity registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and even at that, no one has been able to link the company to Asiwaju. And put him (George) in similar shoes he would have done worse. He is a protagonist of hate speech and should be avoided.”
