Reactions As Obidient Nigerians Ground Owerri For Peter Obi

Supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, popularly known as Obidients have triggered a buzz on social media after they poured out into the streets of Owerri, the Imo State capital to show their support for their man through the ‘One Million Man March For Peter Obi’.

Recall that Supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi in Nasarawa State had last Saturday shut down activities in the state capital, Lafia as they came out in a show of force to the dismay of critics.

The supporters cutting across several support groups also effectively shut down commercial activities in Lafia after they shut down their businesses and also took to the streets paralysing road movement.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that thousands of youths stormed the streets to stage a solidarity march  tagged ‘One Million March’ for Peter Obi,’.

Peter Obi, who reacted with joy to the march had taken to his Twitter thank his supporters.

He wrote: “I am sincerely encouraged by the unwavering commitment of Nigerian youths to the OBIdient movement, aimed at rescuing the nation from bad governance. The recent 1 million march, recently embarked on by OBIdients in Nasarawa State is very well appreciated by the OBIdient family. It’s a great step towards taking back our country.

Just like them, I deeply appreciate every Nigerian who has continued to labour in our country, for the good of the nation. I assure you that our labour will never be in vain”.

However, in the latest development, Obidient Nigerian youths in a similar fashion took to the streets of Owerri, Imo State to showcase their support for Peter Obi in a demonstration themed as One Million Man March for Peter Obi.
